The Kawaika-A is a Hopi dancer named after the ancient Hopi settlement on Antelope Mesa. He is covered in symbols for rain, a sacred commodity anywhere in the Southwest. This example is a Navajo carving that is a perfect way to recall the deserts of Hopi-Land.
